Making Jia a few memory books, can you please contribut by leaving her a little message...

Hi Everyone

Well I am starting to make Jianna some memory books....and I just thought that it would be nice if you guys can leave her a message ....something that I could print and put in her books....Seeing that I did not get my Amazing daughter until she was almost 2 yrs old, I feel sad that I don't have baby pictures of her...just the few that I rec'd from the orphange...I don't have any memories to share with her from when she was 1 day to 21 months....so I just want to make wonderful memories with her and have them documented in her memory books....so please , It would be greatly appreciated if our wonderful friends and family can just take some time and drop a little note for her.....I know that when she gets old enough to read them....it will mean alot to her.......

Many Thanks
Jianna's mommy

Jia-

You are such a beautiful, sweet, loving girl. You were loved long before we saw your sweet face. May you always know that many people love and want the very best for you.

Beautiful Jianna. The day you were born I think you awakened in your mother’s heart. In all the days and months that passed before you were placed in her arms, she wasn’t waiting for any child. She waited for you. Seeing you with your family is like seeing a puzzle that is now complete.

You will always know love. You will always know support. You will always know dreams come true. It all surrounds you right there at home.

Love,

Jia,

What a beautiful family you are a part of! Seeing the love your mother had for you from the very beginning, even before we went to China to get our babies, was heartening. You are now, and have always been, adored beyond words. In the difficult times, I hope you find peace with the help of the love that obviously fills your home.

I would like to share one of my favorite poems.

Legacy of an adopted child

Once there were two women
Who never knew each other
One you do not remember
The other you call mother

Two different lives
Shaped to make you one
One became your guiding star
The other became your sun

The first one gave you life
And the second taught you to live it
The first gave you a need for love
The second was there to give it

One gave you a nationality
The other gave you a name
One gave you a talent
The other gave you aim

One gave you emotions
The other calmed your fears
One saw your first sweet smile
The other dried your tears

One sought for you a home
That she could not provide
The other prayed for a child
And her hope was not denied

And now you ask me
Through your tears
The age old question
unanswered through the years

Heredity or environment
Which are you a product of?
Neither my darling, neither
Just two different kinds of love

All our love,

Hi Jia,

I have never met you or your mommy yet, (I work with your daddy) but I hope to one day meet you. You came home to your forever family a few days before I traveled to Guatemala to bring home my son. As an adoptive mommy myself, I know how lucky your mommy and daddy feel to be your parents. You are a blessing who is loved by so many people.

Love,

Becky
